Where ever the path may lead me, I am always enjoying the beauty of nature through my camera lens.
I enjoy daily walks where ever they may be….It helps me compile my thoughts and connect with God, my Higher Power and those I love.
My Story…
My love of the camera began when I was a child, and always played around with my father’s Nikon 35mm. I received that first camera as a gift to take away to college with me as I decided to minor in Art at Pepperdine University. I then took some photography classes in college and the passion continued to grow as I played around with artistically rendering photos and learned developing in the dark room. The backdrop and beauty of Malibu, CA allowed me to open up my heart and eyes to the gorgeous surroundings of sky, mountains and ocean all wrapped up in one complemented by “drop dead” sunsets.
I received my first real camera, Nikon 6006, just before the birth of my first daughter in 1992. It was then, that I realized I had a love for looking through the lens to capture just the “right” image. My jump in to digital didn’t evolved until the last 5 years because I still have a fondness to shooting film.
I hope that you can enjoy the beauty and inspiration both spiritually and emotionally that is expressed in my art. My journey on this path is constantly evolving and has allowed me to share my work with you.
Namaste,
Michele
